A guide to e-learning
Author(s): Tahani RK Bsharat, Fariza Behak and Islam Asim Ismail
Abstract: The authors pinpoint the fact that e-learning had been successfully implemented in the classroom before the pandemic. This implantation was mainly found in the tutorials. These tutorials were helpful to students through online recorded classes and other learning systems (Kattoua et al., 2016). Together, the present chapter presents a historical development of e-learning from 2000 to the present time. Another promising aim of this chapter is to offer newly employed teachers a proper understanding of types of e-learning; thus, they can employ e-learning effectively in their classes. Planned comparisons were revealed regarding the benefits and drawbacks of e-learning. The chapter concludes that the educational field received a massive change by giving the opportunity for education to carry on during the school shut. E-learning gives both students and teachers a variety of multimedia options to meet the curriculum outcomes without a physical appearance in the classroom.
