The study's goals are to assess how academic anxiety affects students' academic achievement and to pinpoint gender variations in academic achievement. In this study, survey approach was employed. 200 students from the Jammu district's Government Degree Colleges participated in the survey. The data was analyzed using SPSS. Percentage analysis, regression, and the t-test were used for statistical testing. The results of the study show that academic anxiety significantly affects academic achievement and that there are substantial gender variations in academic achievement.
