The prophecy of women among speakers

Abstract: The prophecy of women is one of the branches in the discussions of prophethood in Islamic theology. Its emergence stems from the distinction between prophets and messengers, along with a misinterpretation of religious texts. Additionally, some women mentioned in the Quran or prophetic traditions have been excessively praised, although they themselves did not claim prophethood nor were they explicitly mentioned as prophets in the texts. Ultimately, they are among the believing women who exhibited extraordinary virtues.
