Interaction effect of groups (experimental and control) and gender (male and female) on pretest of academic achievement in social science among 9th standard students

Abstract: The purpose of the study was to Interaction effect of groups (experimental and control) and gender (male and female) on pretest of academic achievement in social science among 9th standard students. The sample of the present study includes 100 students studying in IX standard were drawn using stratified random sampling technique. Among the other things, the study revealed that; i) 9th standard male students in experiment group & 9th standard female students in experiment group have similar pretest scores of academic achievement in social science; ii) 9th standard male students in experiment group & 9th standard male students in control group have similar pretest scores of academic achievement in social science. iii) 9th standard male students in experiment group & 9th standard female students in control group have similar pretest scores of academic achievement in social science. iv)9th standard female students in experiment group & 9th standard male students in control group have similar pretest scores of academic achievement in social science. v) 9th standard female students in experiment group & 9th standard female students in control group have similar pretest scores of academic achievement in social science.
