Author(s): Jerina Pereira and Seema Singh
Abstract: This study looks into how the Hindi language has changed over time and its importance in India's social and cultural context. It focuses on how historical events and cultural interactions have shaped its growth. By using qualitative data from old texts, studies on language, and interviews with language experts and cultural historians, the research shows that Hindi has taken in many language influences over the years and has been essential in forming social identities and cultural exchanges in India. The results demonstrate that the development of the language closely links to key historical events such as colonialism and independence, which have helped it become a means of expressing various cultural stories. This study highlights the need to understand language development in healthcare, particularly for improving communication and patient education in a country with many languages. By acknowledging Hindi's role in connecting cultural differences and improving access to health information, the research stresses the importance of healthcare practices that are considerate of cultural and language diversity. The consequences of this study reach into healthcare by promoting methods that use linguistic variety to enhance health results and encourage inclusivity in healthcare services, ultimately helping to create a fairer health system.
