Abstract: The "Interviews of Excellence," organized in 2023 in Douala and Yaoundé, aimed to raise awareness among middle and high school students about academic and professional success, while promoting equal opportunities. The event brought together 800 students from various schools to provide them with information on career guidance and professions. A method combining surveys and interviews was used to analyze the participants' perceptions, showing an improvement in their understanding of careers and the qualities required for success, such as perseverance and discipline. 91.6% of the students expressed their satisfaction and expressed a desire to participate in the next edition. It is recommended to integrate more such events into national educational policies to support career guidance and encourage the diversification of fields, especially for girls in scientific disciplines.
