Author(s): Piyush Singh Pokharia, Manoj Singh Negi and Shekhar Kumar Sahu

Abstract: The research examines the alignment and effectiveness of Program Outcomes (POs) and Course Outcomes (COs) in higher education curricula. It evaluates participant perceptions, the influence of PO-CO alignment on curriculum effectiveness, and factors affecting graduate preparedness. Utilizing statistical tools like SPSS, the study analyzes data from 500 participants using surveys with high reliability (Cronbach's Alpha > 0.85). Findings indicate that clear alignment of POs and COs significantly enhances curriculum effectiveness, participant satisfaction, and graduate preparedness. Regular updates to curricula further strengthen these outcomes. The research highlights the importance of alignment, consistency, and adaptability in curriculum design for improving participant satisfaction and ensuring graduates' readiness for professional and academic challenges. Institutions are advised to prioritize these factors for sustained curriculum effectiveness and relevance.
