English language learning difficulties in agricultural colleges of Manipur

Abstract: This paper tries to understand the English Language learning difficulties faced by the students in agricultural colleges of Manipur. It aims to examine English language learning difficulties outcomes based on six items of each social psychological and teaching methodology factors, and assess the extent of these difficulties across the different demographic contexts with Likert Scale of 5. The scale reliability is confirmed by the Cronbach’s Alpha reliability score which is greater than 0.7. The finding of the study shows that the strong drivers of English learning is instrumental motivation whereas it also reveals that there is area of improvement in the field of teaching aids and classroom activities.
